Seersucker
No fabric says ‘summer’ better than the dimpled cotton weave known as seersucker. Its bunched thread construction creates micro air pockets that keep you cool in the heat, hence why it became widely popular in the American South in the 1920s. Originally a hardy fabric that belonged to the working classes, seersucker came to be adored by Ivy League types. Today, it’s just a great lightweight cotton perfect for dressing down smart tailoring. This season, we’ve created a number of shirts, jackets and trousers from the iconic fabric to give your wardrobe an injection of texture.
