Wide-leg trousers have come a long way since the original Oxford bags of the 1920s. The Orsman is our modern reference, designed to sit comfortably on the waist with a relaxed wide leg and single front pleats that give the silhouette a clear sartorial line without feeling formal or exaggerated.
The finely scaled check gives the fabric depth and texture up close, while remaining understated when worn. Woven with a softly mottled, almost melange effect, it has a dry, lightly textured handle rather than a smooth or crisp finish, adding character without overpowering the shape.
Cut from a cotton and wool blend, the cloth balances breathability with gentle structure. A small amount of synthetic fibre improves durability and helps the fabric recover its shape, with a touch of stretch for everyday comfort. The trousers can be worn on their own or paired with the matching Bradwell Jacket to form a relaxed, modern suit.

Measurements are taken from the outside of the garment, lying flat and then doubled for your convenience. Therefore, a 20" chest lying flat will measure 40" around.
