Oliver Spencer's fishtail trousers are so-called because of the v-shaped cut in the rear of the waistband, which is a reference to classic men's trousers that had room for buttons for braces. This style is crafted from a lightweight indigo-dyed cotton seersucker fabric and can be worn as a suit with our matching jacket.

Our production team have hand-measured each garment, so the sizes you see below are reflective of this style. Compare the sizes below to one of your favourite fitting garments at home to find your perfect size.
Measurements are taken from the outside of the garment, lying flat and then doubled for your convenience. Therefore a 20" chest lying flat will measure 40" around.

Indigo dye will fade, this is a natural and charming process that reveals a palette of bright to light blues. Whilst we love indigo, watch out for dye that may rub off onto lighter surfaces and your skin.
