At the core of it all is texture – I wanted pieces that beg to be touched, worn, and lived in. We're leaning heavily into natural fibres such as rich wools and low-impact cottons, with suede and corduroy adding that extra layer of depth. It's all about creating clothes that feel as good as they look, and sustainability is woven right in. By sticking to organic materials and raw naturals, we're keeping our carbon footprint light without skimping on quality. But I've also sprinkled in some clever tech fabrics, like our lightweight recycled polyamide called Foster. It's water-repellent and tough, perfect for those unpredictable British days, and you'll see it shining in outerwear staples like the Arnold Coat, the Arlington bomber jacket, and our classic chore-style Woodbury jacket.
The colour story this season is all about those deep, earthy tones that mirror autumn itself: think warm browns, forest greens, charcoals, navies, and olives as your base. Then, to keep things lively, we've punched it up with accents of rust, red, plum, and cream. It's a muted palette that lets the textures take centre stage, with subtle stripes and checks adding a geometric twist that's both classic and fresh.
Outerwear reimagines some military-inspired classics with my signature relaxed tailoring. Take the trench coat – we've given it utility details like epaulettes, but kept it soft and wearable. Everything here is proudly made in the UK, highlighting our dedication to top-notch craftsmanship and eco-conscious choices. I'm particularly proud of a new rich green wool we developed with our long-time partners in Yorkshire; it's the star of our perennial Big Coat silhouette, offering warmth and style in equal measure. For something a bit more adventurous, check out the needlecord four-pocket safari jacket paired with matching trousers – it's my take on the modern suit, pushing boundaries while staying versatile.
