New Arrival: The Kershaw Bomber Jacket

New Arrival: The Kershaw Bomber Jacket

The new Kershaw Bomber Jacket takes a flight jacket's practical shape and gives it a different texture for Winter 26. Made in England, it comes in four versions, from navy twill to burgundy and pink houndstooth. Same foundations, different attitudes.

A bomber earns its place through function: a short body that leaves you free to move, a close waist and pockets with a purpose. The Kershaw keeps that logic intact. An elasticated waist draws in the blouson shape, while a stand collar with a storm fastening closes up against the cold. Two roomy patch pockets keep the essentials close. The double zip lets you open the jacket from below without undoing it at the neck, useful when sitting down or giving the hem a little more room.

Then the cloth changes the conversation. Doughton Twill Navy has subtle diagonal ridges and an 80% wool composition: the restrained choice, with texture doing the talking. Sosa Moss Green brings an earthy colour in a tactile 70% wool blend. Both Panes Houndstooth versions are pure wool - the charcoal version keeps the pattern understated while the punchy burgundy/pink colourway gives the same practical jacket a playful attitude.

This season, we're wearing it with our wide Orsman trousers. The short jacket defines the waist; the fuller leg gives the silhouette balance. A plain knit underneath lets the houndstooth take the lead, while navy or moss green leaves room for bolder accents of colour elsewhere. Keep the combinations straightforward and let the proportions do the work. The Kershaw has enough going on without asking the rest of your wardrobe to compete.
