New in: the Cowboy Chore jacket in Evering linen

This season has been our most sustainable yet. We've been able to source and use more organic cotton and linen fabrics than ever before, keeping us on track in our goal to becoming a 100% ecological fabric brand. Organic cotton plays a large part of the process and gets most of the plaudits thanks to that 'organic' moniker, but praise should also be given to linen, that most ancient of cloths boasting excellent sustainability credentials.

That's why, this season, we used linen to construct some of our favourite perennial silhouettes. One such style that we can't wear enough at the moment is the Cowboy chore jacket in Evering linen (as seen on Mark Hix in our recent interview). It's a classic three-pocket style, unstructured and wears more like an overshirt. It's incredibly lightweight and versatile and takes its inspiration from the classic chore jackets or bleu de chine of old.

Made in East London from a beautifully soft Irish linen, it has a relaxed and easy drape, with the familiar casual crumple that only great linen can deliver. The taupe tone is a great choice for spring and summer as it will slide right into any tonal fits and provides a soft contrast to white and cream/beige. It also pairs really well with green hues and makes for a stylish layer when paired with chinos or indigo-dyed jeans.

Primed for summer, the regular-fit Cowboy comes with horn button fastenings and we've also constructed it in a green and navy tone in the exact same Irish linen. All colours pair seamlessly with this season's fishtail, judo, drawstring and worker trousers, all of which we have produced in organic cotton and linen yarns in a complementary palette.
