4 Weekend Fits to Cover All Bases

Four fits for four weekends away (but staying close to home). From an outdoorsy look to a smart tailored rig, we've got all the boxes ticked...

With air bridges being shut down and new quarantines being applied here, there and everywhere, we thought it would be prudent to curate four fits perfect for exploring your home turf at the weekends. From a monochrome urban look to a more rugged outdoorsy vibe, we've edited some of our favourite seasonal pieces (many of which you can still grab in the SALE with up to 60% off) with some core items and accessories, not only from Oliver Spencer but also our Studio brands, where you'll find the likes of Porter-Yoshida & Co, US Rubber, Snow Peak and Paraboot to name a few. If you're heading to the coast for a staycation, hiking to a new watering hole, or just kicking about on your patch, you'll find something here to upgrade your kit.

The Swanky Getaway

Treating yourself to a luxury country break somewhere polished or have an event where you need to make an effort? We've got you covered. From the top, we've gone for our 100% linen Brookes Jacket in Evering Navy for an unstructured tailoring layer. The peak lapel ensures it's a little more formal than the notched variety, but it's still easy-to-wear with a polo, casual shirt or tee. Trousers-wise, the smart-casual approach is with pleats in the form of our lightweight Pleat Trousers Hidcote Green, and we've broken up the muted colours with a white and blue Clerkenwell Tab collar pinstripe shirt. Paraboot's Reims chunky tan loafers provide a bold tone to pull the look together. With a little body cleanser treat from Haeckels, carry it all off in Porter-Yoshida's navy Flex bag.

The Great Outdoors

If it's a marathon yomp in the hills your after, or just light spot of camping in the great outdoors, this fit will be right up your trail. Paraboot's incredible leather Avoriaz boots combined with Ro To To's slub socks will ensure your put your best foot forward on long hikes. Our Swanfield Henley shirt is the perfect base layer, constructed from 95% organic cotton and 5% elastane for a super comfortable fit, then layer over it with our Hockney Jacket in Kildale Forest Green as a functional and lightweight, workwear-inspired overshirt. If you're camping, then you must checkout Snow Peak's equipment, most of which is constructed from titanium. Pack it all up in Porter-Yoshida's suitably khaki three-way rucksack and briefcase.

Urban Monochrome (with a pop)

If you're looking to decamp to another city for a few nights away, then a monchrome look is an easy urban option that takes some of the thinking out of getting dressed. Our perennial Solms Jacket in Phaidon Black is an unstructured blazer designed to be worn with the collar up, or it can also be folded down and styled as a traditional blazer, nicely bridging the gap between our tailoring and outerwear. It comes with matching judo trousers (in-store only) or you can pair it with our Judo Trousers in Eden Black. Porter-Yoshida's black tote bag with a vibrant orange lining is a slick carry-all for around town and offers a nice way to punctuate the black with a pop of bold colour. The Hawthorn polo in Tindall Ecru offers a contrast in both colour and texture, being cut from an organic Portuguese seersucker cloth. Finish the look off with our Coventry sneakers in Leather Nubuck grey and accessorise with flashes of colour in the way of Il Bussetto's excellent handmade leather goods.

The Fair Weather Kit

If you're heading to the coast or the countryside, we've pulled together a summery edit of lightweight casual pieces to ensure you look effortlessly stylish. We've mixed up the blue tones for a nautical vibe with our Box T-shirt Paz Navy and Drawstring Shorts Kildale Indigo Light, and have bookended them with US Rubber's corn yellow low-tops (blue and yellow work really well together). A perfect summer layer piece is our belted Cowboy Jacket Evering Sand, which is constructed from ecological linen. Finish the look off with our Conrad Sepia sunglasses, and stash it all away in Porter-Yoshida & Co's voluminous orange duffle bag.
