New Season! The Autumn 22 collection is here

We're excited to be able to show you the new Oliver Spencer Autumn/Winter 22 collection, which we've called "The Bloomsbury Man". Oli was inspired by the life and style of the members of the famous Bloomsbury set, and so the collection is the meeting point of the 1920s artist and thinker, and modern relaxed tailoring.

Featuring an array of earthy autumnal tones highlighted with splashes of blue, grey, and mustard hues, the collection introduces a diverse selection of textural tactile fabrics such as terry cord, needlecord, and jumbo wale corduroy, alongside brushed organic cotton and ecological wools. Explicitly designed to be mixed and matched at will, the collection complements the wearer’s creativity and experimentation.

Loose, relaxed silhouettes in judo and drawstring trousers are paired with unstructured wool tailoring and flecked donegal knits to create textural layers. Elements of plaid run throughout the collection, with understated checks reserved for rich wool outerwear styles, while brighter, bolder checks serve as a contrast in shirting. Key highlights of the collection include: Fairisle-inspired knitwear patterns with horizontal textural elements, alongside panel-blocked Blenheim crewnecks and terry cord funnel necks for a vintage sports aesthetic.

The introduction of the Mansfield jacket - a peak lapel style blazer with a tab closure and a horizontal stitch detail in the cloth to give it a textural finish. The iconic Solms jacket is reimagined in a stunning jumbo wale corduroy cloth that can be worn as a suit or separates. Hooded blousons, bomber jackets and belted grandpa coats are constructed in heavyweight wool cloths and corduroy, while the hooded Salcombe jacket provides time-tested protection thanks to a wax cotton exterior and storm fastening.

We hope you love wearing the collection as much as we loved designing it. It's one of our most versatile yet and we think it perfectly encapsulates the spirit and identity of the Bloomsbury man as a creative, intellectual and stylish polymath.
