Oliver Spencer X Mr Porter Eco Capsule Collection

May 17, 2019

Our first organic capsule collection for Mr Porter. Working solely with linens and cottons, the collection utilises responsibly-sourced fabrics in order to reduce the impact on the environment.

This collection brings together some classic Oliver Spencer summer staples alongside some new, exclusive styles. All the cotton in the collection has been certified by the Global Organic Textile Standard which is the standard-bearer for the textile industry worldwide.

Flax, the plant that linen comes from, is a hardy crop that doesn’t require pesticides. Likewise, the whole of the plant is used in the production of linen, which creates a greater yield and less waste. And if that wasn’t enough, linen is a breathable fabric making it a natural choice for warmer weather.

New In

From our earliest days, we’ve adopted a business model that incorporates environmental and social responsibility at every step. Each season, we increase the proportion of ecological, organic and recycled fabrics and will continue to do so until they represent the entirety of our collections. We also ring-fence a proportion of our revenue to put towards planting trees with the Woodland Trust.
