Oli's Edit: Three Favourite Shirts

Modesty aside, we have some great shirts this season, don’t we? I love them all. But our marketing team want me to pick out three favourites (just three!?) from the season. Alright. Here they are.

Oliver Spencer AW16 Campaign

First up, Caswell (above). A stunning shirt; you’ll spot it all over our AW16 lookbook. This shirt features a woven striped fabric we designed and wove with one of our favourite Portuguese mills. This is the kind of thing I love: working with world-class fabric technicians to make something that’s genuinely one-of-a-kind. Shop Caswell Shirts.

Oliver Spencer Grey Brushed Cotton Grandad Shirt

Then onto something a bit more minimal. I love a clean, simple grandad shirt. In the Woburn fabric here it’s a thing of beauty. Woburn is a fairly weighty brushed cotton, meaning it’s warm, it’s soft and it’ll age brilliantly. There are so many outfits this shirt works with that I won’t even start. Shop Grandad Shirts in Woburn.

Oliver Spencer Eton Collar Shirt in Lupin Charcoal

And finally, the Lupin Charcoal. I make no apologies that two of my three picks today are grey. Grey is great: different from the white/blue norm without being attention-seeking. And this is a lovely, lovely fabric, thanks to its woven texture. Shop shirts & ties in the Lupin fabric.

…Ask me again tomorrow, you’d probably get a different three. So it goes.
