10 Years On Lamb Conduit Street

Apr 27, 2018

In April 2008 Oliver Spencer opened the doors to 62 Lambs Conduit Street for the very first time. A shop, design studio and head office spread over two floors on one of central London’s most vibrant and creative streets.

When I first came to Lambs Conduit, I was so surprised at how a beautiful street still existed in the center of London - I knew at that point I had to open store there... and six months later, we did.

In celebration of 10 years at 62 Lambs Conduit Street, Oliver wanted to reflect on how the store, the unique urban setting and eclectic community have shaped and influenced the evolution of the brand. A walk through the design archive over the last 10 years inspired Oliver to recreate an old classic; created specifically for the store when it first launched.

The Fisher Jacket is cut from British Millerain fine waxed Cotton in a deep Yellow and made in London. The design envelopes London style and metropolitan life; a true sensibility of the brand. A blouson style bomber jacket with a neatly curved, cut away collar. A brass double ended zip sits on a contrasting ecru herringbone tape to keep things looking fresh. The jacket is lined in an ecru cotton herringbone and finished with a discreet embroidery to mark our 10th birthday and available in limited numbers.

Along with the Fisher Jacket are some canvas Tote Bags and three limited-edition Conduit Tees in Navy, Ecru and Pink marl; all of which hallmarked with a commemorative ‘X’ to celebrate the anniversary.

Oliver Spencer

From early beginnings as a self-taught tailor and shopkeeper, Oliver Spencer has built a brand around his vision: hand-crafted quality paired with stylish accents and details. In the words of GQ, a ‘uniquely British take on relaxed style’.
