National Portrait Gallery // Taylor Wessing Prize
December 19, 2011
Add a comment +The Taylor Wessing portrait exhibition at the National Portrait Gallery is one we always look forward to - with striking images throughout and the annual debate over the winning picture this years is no exception.
There is a great portrait of Peter Crouch by Spencer Murphy and an intimate image called the embrace by Jonathan May - pictured below.
The portrait that took top prize was by Jooney Woodward with Harriet and Gentleman Jack - a young teenage girl with her pet guinea pig in a competition. The rest of the series and others can be seen on Jooney's website www.jooneywoodward.co.uk
We had a personal interest in Jasper Clarke's portrait of Wen which came fourth place as he is a friend of the brand - so we want to say a big congratulations to him. (Also pictured below)
It only costs £2.00 to go and see the exhibition and is on from the 10th November - 12th February 2012
